Over 40 Years of Transactional and Industry Service

I began my real estate practice at a shared desk in a bullpen selling homes. Eventually, I became the Property Manager for an independent firm. Although I still did home sales, property management and leasing were my hands-on education in working with commercial properties. Leasing, handling showings and move outs, managing tenant improvements and occasionally, evictions. As we expanded our scope, I was able to perform the above duties for retail, office and multifamily projects we developed. It was an insider education to the commercial real estate world and led to my involvement in sales and tax deferred exchanges.

During those years, I earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM)™ designation. An advanced National Association of Realtors™ commercial real estate practitioner certification requiring testing and transactional qualifications. I also earned the Certified Financial Planning (CFP)™ designation. Today I am the Commercial Director for my office and assist our agents as an information resource and referral partner.

As a CCIM, I am also a REALTOR™ member. I served as a Director and Officer for my local AOR and served 23 years as a CAR Director and NAR Delegate.

All 23 years at CAR were involved with commercial Forms, Education and Legislation. When NAR approved Commercial Associations, I was the Founding President of the Realtors Commercial Alliance of Orange County, CA.
